What is the role of the parliament??..

Parliament is the legislative body of the government which has the following roles :
1) It makes and updates laws i.e. Legislation
2)It forms the government.
3)It examines the government for its policies and actions.
4) It represents people i.e. it acts on behalf of the voters or the citizens of the country.
