What ph do you expect for the copper sulphate solution? Why?

Dear student,
The pH of copper sulfate solution will be less than 7, that is acidic. This is because the salt formed by strong acid and weak base will make the solution acidic due to hydrolysis. Thus, HSO4- form will be the stronger acid than CuOH+ which is a base, the solution will be acidic.
