What's the answer for this question??

Dear Student,

Perisperm is a layer of nutritive tissue in the seed of certain flowering plants that is derived from nucellus and surrounds the embryo.
Hence, the correct option is option A i.e. remanants of nucellus. It is the residual nucellus which persists in some seeds. It provides nutrition to the embryo in seeds. For example, seeds of coffee, beet and black pepper.

Dear student,

The remains of nucellus left after the fertilization and absorption by the endosperm and embryo is known as perisperm. Seeds which contain perisperm?are known as perispermic seed. Example: Black pepper.

So, the correct option is 1) remnants of nucellus.
