What type of glass is used to make some laboratory apparatus?

Potash glass is used to make chemical apparatus like conical flask, beakers etc as they are chemical resistant. 
But better choice for making apparatus is Borosilicate glass. It is not easily attacked by the chemicals. Also it is heat resistant. It can stand sudden cooling and heating.
