What was the main difference between the English and French east India companies

a.The french trading corporation was established in 1664 The English east India company was founded in 1600
b. The company established control over Indian ports like Pondicherry. The company became a symbolic of British control over India, and created trading centres in surat, Bengal, Bihar, Orissa and later engaged in political occupation.
c. The company due to bankruptcy was abolished in 1769, however was reconstituted again and finally abolished in 1794. In 1858, the British government nationalised the company.
