what will happen if all the carnivores are removed from the earth

Dear student.

If all the carnivores are removed from the earth then the herbivores would increase in number as there would be nobody to feed on them and hence their population would increase tremendously. Increased number of herbivores would put pressure on the primary producers or plants of the ecosystem for nutrition and their number would also decrease. Ultimately food will fall short for herbivores, as a result of which they may start dying due to lack of nutrition and competition. This will ultimately destabilize the whole ecosystem.
