What would happen if each country of the world use its own set of coventional signs and symbols ?

a. Understanding maps is based on certain mutually agreed language.
b. Certain conventional symbols which are recognised and are used to depict places are those of Post office, Church, temples, rivers,trees , graveyards, settlement, railway line etc.
c. These symbols are universally accepted and are agreed upon through international agreement.
d. If countries start using their own conventional signs and symbols , it would certainly be difficult to understand map.
e. It would create confusion among the user.
f. It would amount to flouting of international agreement.
g. It would certainly be difficult to comprehend directions and places.
