What’s the difference between heterozygous and hybrids ?

Dear student,
The term heterozygous refers to single genes. The individual is said to be heterozygous for a particular gene if the two copies of the gene that exist on different chromosomes are different. In contrast the term hybrid refers to individuals that have resulted from the crossing of distantly releated individtuals
Regards
