PAPER AND COTTON BOTH ARE PLANT PRODUCTS WHILE HAIR AND FLEECE(SHEEP HAIR) ARE MADE FROM TH SAME MATERIAL.THE REASON GIVEN BY ASHI JAIN IS ALSO VALID

cotton and paper are both deprived from plant whereas silk or wool are deprived from animal's hair(not silk only wool is deprived from the hair of sheep yak or goat)

Paper is made out of plants. Cotton is also made out of plants. So they both give out similar fumes while burning as their origin comes from plants.
