the point which divides the line segment in k:1 ratio?How can we
apply this equation in the questions to prove collinearity?In those
question the ratio is not given as k:1 So how can we apply this
equation in those questions?Please explain in detail

Hi Gayathri, For proving three point in 3-D to be collinear we use distance formula that sum of distance of parts is same as that of sum of whole
Like if line is AB and C is a pointon it so findAC, BC and add them to equate it to AB
