Whether the batteries used in trucks, tractors and invertors are also made from cells. then why it is called a battery?

Dear Student!

Izumi is right. Many cells make up a battery. However, batteries used in trucks and inverters is not the same dry cell that you use at home. It uses lead acid types galvanic cells to operate which are rechargeable.

Hello,

Cell is the smallest unit of a battery. Which means a single cell can make a battery, two or more cells together also can make a battery. Abatteryis actually a power supply withmore than one cell. This is why, the DC power supply used in tractors, trucks, inverters etc are called battery (one such battery contain about 4-6 cells).
