Which produces the greater change in kinetic energy: exerting a 10-N force for a distance of 5m, or exertinga 20-N force over a distance of 2m? Assume that all the work goes into K.E.

In case I:
work done = f*s
                  = 10*5
                  = 50 J
In case II:
work done = f*s
                  =20*2
                  = 40 J
So the work done in case I is more. Hence the K.E. of it will also be greater.
