Which structure present in the nuclear region of a living cell bear genes?

Dear student,
The structure which bears genes in the nuclear region of a living cell is the chromatin fibres or chromatin threads present in the nucleoplasm region of the nucleus. They form chromosomes at the time of the cell division which contains the genetic material DNA having genes in it which is transferred from parents to the offsprings.
