Who discovered universal law of gravity ?

Dear student,
Sir Issac Newton discovered the law of gravitation.

According to the universal law of gravitation , the gravitational force of attraction between two masses separated by a certain distance is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the masses.

If m₁ and m₂ are the masses separated by a distance r then,

 

Here G is called the Universal gravitational constant. Its value is  6.67 × 10^-11 Nm²kg^-2
