Who founded algebra and mensuration

Dear student,

In the context where algebra is identified with the theory of equation, the Greek mathematician Diophantus has traditionally been known as the "father of algebra" and in context where it is identified with rules for manipulating and solving equations.

Archimedes is remembered as the greatest mathematician of ancient area. He is one of the most famous Greek mathematicians contributed significantly in geometry regarding the area of plane figures and areas as well as volumes of curved surfaces.
