# Why am i getting 2 different ans for the same equation

Dear Student,
The second case, when the answer is coming k> -9 is wrong.
This is because, inequality rule says, when you divide an inequality by a negative number, the inequality sign reverses. After the second step, when you divide the inequality by -16 to get , -9< k, the sign should get reversed. Hence, you would again get, -9> k,that is , k< -9, which is same as the first answer.
