Why dF/dm=0 for F to be maximum? (Please explain in detail)

Dear student,
Find the answer to your query as under:

It is the concept of maxima, in which the slope of the curve has to be zero at the point of maxima. As it is that point after which the value of the function will start to fall but at any cost it will not increase beyond that point. And derivative of a function gives the slope of the curve of the function. So,
dF/dm = 0
