Why did Albert feel miserable when he left school that day ?

Dear Student,

Albert already despised going to school because of the hateful behaviour of his teachers. That day when Mr. Braun, his history teacher, asked him whether he knew the year Napolean got defeated at Waterloo, Albert bluntly answered in negative and even told him he saw no sense in learning the dates and facts which could be looked up when needed. He also expressed his dislike towards the prevailing methods of teaching that did not solve the very purpose of education, according to him. At this, Mr. Braun got infuriated and yelled at him for being a disgrace to the school and wished he would be taken away soon. He even punished Albert by making him stay for an extra period at the school that day. The entire incident made Albert feel miserable that day.

Albert felt so bad that day because his history teacher scolded him badly that day he had to go back to the miserable place, the school the next day also.
