why did Charlie suspect that Sam had gone to galesburg? ( Vistas - the third level)

Dear student Sam was a city boy and liked Galesburg very much. When Sam had disappeared all of a sudden and no one knew about it, Charlie suspected he had gone to Galesburg. Then Charlie also found an envelope mailed to Sam by his grandfather from his home in Galesburg. Regards
