(i) Poor people are food insecure

(ii) During natural calamities, APL people also experience food shortage.

(iii) During natural calamities food prices rise up

(iv) Some areas experience draughts and famines.

People below poverty line are always insecure and those above the poverty line may be insecure during calamites. *Agriculture in our country depends upon rainfall which is uneven. *Our country is affected by natural disasters and in areas affected by these calamites, there will be a shortage of food. *Due to the increasing population. *Due to illegal hoarding,blackmarketing and corruption.
