why does endocytosis take place in amoeba but not in chalmydomonasalthough both are unicellular and aquatic

Chlamydomonas has a cell wall (since it is an algae) which restricts endocytosis.
Amoeba is an organism WITHOUT cell wall, thus it can perform endocytosis
