Why is natural fibre expensive?

why is artificial fibre cheaper than natural fibre?

it is so because natural fibre are present in limited quantity but synthetic fibres are prepared from artificial materials which are unlimited

It is also because natural fibre are present in limited quantity but synthetic fibres are prepared from artificial materials which are unlimited.

Because the natural fibres are produced from different animals at different places and the rate in it also includes the transportation where as in artificial fibres there is atleast one factory in each city or town so there is lesser cost of transportation than from other states or countries.

Natural Fibres are more expensive than Synthetic fibres because they are produced from different animals and different plants and they are transported from different places they charge us with the charges plus the commision they get and profit which makes Natural Fibres very expensive. They undergo many processess wheras Synthetic fibres also undergo many changes but the transportation is less costlier than the Natural Fibres.

Natural Fibres are more expensive than Synthetic fibres for the following reasons :-

  • They are obtained from different animals and plants and have to be processed to get fabrics and then clothes from that material.
  • The other reason is that most of the natural fibres need delicate handling. So, transportion charge is greater than that of synthetic fibres.

Natural fibres are expensive  as they are obtained  from plants and animals .synthetic fibers are cheaper as they are made up of petro chemicals

Natural fibres are expensive because they are naturally made from plants and animals. So, they are to be kept properly ,safe from moth attacks etc.

Artificial fibres are cheaper becuase they are made through chemical treatment and they are easy to handle.

natural fibre is obtained from animals and plants . so, to obtain natural fibres , first we need to gro plants oranimals. then after it growws into a well developed plant or animal it is ready to make as fibre with some other things to make as a cloth. there fore, to maintain these plants and animals it is difficult.while doing atificial clothes ,this much maintanance is not needed.so, natural fibres are expensive than synthetic fibres.

since natural fibres are expensive but they do not have any side effect so they are very expensive

natural fibres are more expensive because:

they are obtained from natural sources

natural resorces are cheep

Natural fibres are obtained from plants and animals. This amount is very limited. but the artificial fibres are made from chemicals are unlimited.

Not all synthetic fibres are cheaper than natural fibres. Kevlar is more expensive than cotton for example. The synthetic fibres that are cheaper than natural fibres are cheap because they are built from cheap raw materials and produced very efficiently, for example, nylon and polyester are mostly built from oil by-products and are efficiently produced in huge amounts. In contrast silk is only made by farming silk worms, which is a comparatively labour intensive process that relies more on the silk worms than thermodynamics and reaction engineering, there fore it is harder to control it's production efficiently.
