why only we inhale oxygen not any of other gases as there are many gases in the atmosephere
Dear Student,
We inhale all gases present in the atmosphere through our nostrils. On reaching lungs only oxygen is absorbed by the red blood cell present in blood and carbon dioxide is released from them. This happens because red blood cells have specific red color pigment haemoglobin that has affinity only for oxygen not for any other gas present in atmosphere. In this way only oxygen gets entry into our lungs not all gases.
