Why vacule in animal cell and plant cell different in size

We know that the vacuoles helps in the stores of excess water and some other material. The animals are not stationary but the plants are. Plants may suffer through the shortage of water. So, to avoid the shortage they have a inbuilt mechanism in there cellular level i.e is vacuoles. They can store a large amount of water and other material.
