i. It lead to Unequal distribution of water among different social groups.
ii. It also becomes a source of conflict among different groups, regions and even countries.

iv. Dumping of industrial waste, chemicals, causes water pollution and becomes the reason for water borne diseases impacting our overall health
v. Moreover, mismanagement of water resources will lead to shortage of water disrupting the entire ecosystem and balance of nature
vi. Water supply is impacted by:
a. Over exploitation of water due to excessive irrigation
b. Growing population, Industrialisation and Urbanisation
c. Unequal distribution of water among different social groups. The poor in the rural areas blame the state machinery of diverting water in urban areas and benefiting the rich.
d Deteriorating quality of water due to pollution, dumping of chemical and industrial waste, garbage dumping.
e Water scarcity is also impacted by the amount of precipitation which varies from area to area.
f. Fresh water is also unequally distributed across the planet due to lack of adequate rainfall in many regions.
