Write an activity to show that chemical change causes change in colour with aim, material required, procedure and observations .

Dear student,

Aim: To show the chemical change of any matter where colour change takes place.
Materials required: Hydrated copper sulphate, spoon, burner.
Procedure:
1) Take 1 gram of hydrated copper sulphate in a spoon.
2) Keep the spoon near to the burner in such a way that the flame of the burner will heat the spoon.

Observation: We will observe that the blue colour of hydrated copper sulphate after heating will change into colourless due to the removal of water molecules from the copper sulphate.
