Write short notes on root pressure

Root pressure is pressure caused within the root cells which causes the the uprise of the nutrients and water in the plants from roots to the leaves. This pressure is similar to the phenomenon of osmotic pressure. Root pressure occurs due to transpiration during the day or soil moisture which is high during the night.
