Last week, our school took us on a heritage walk to Agra Fort. It was for the first time that I happened to visit any historical fort. When I went inside the tomb, I was amazed to see the beauty and grandeur of the tomb. I could not believe that such a magnificent piece of architecture was built so many years back when there was no technology. I was spell bound to see the beauty of the structure. It had the Mughal style of art and architecture. It was constructed by the third Mughal emperor Akbar. We were told that 4000 builders daily worked on it and it was completed in 8 years. Many other schools were also there. It was busy attraction. I felt very proud of our country and the workers who worked day and night to complete this fort.
