“I just jumped with joy at that moment and kept shaking for a few minutes,” said Raksha, on being congratulated by HRD Union Minister Prakasha Javadekar. She hopes to pursue an Honours course in Political Science from Delhi University.

Amidst celebrations and congratulatory messages from all over, Raksha makes it a point to tell what she thinks worked in her favour and what her tips are for scoring well in CBSE Class 12 Board exams. Here are some wise points made by her on various interviews:

Raksha’s Mantra for Success…

  • Just planning to get top scores might not always work out, you just have to put your level best into the effort.
  • You need to focus, concentrate, and times, have a little time off, since you need it as much the study time. Basically, striking the right balance is the key to scoring well in Boards.
  • The pressure to perform well in Class 12 is real and understandable, since it’s at an All-India level. Nervous moments happen to the best of students, and are not something that you should get bogged down by.
  • Quality and not the quantity of your preparation holds a lot of importance and goes a long way in strengthening your ability to write perfect answers.
  • She also talks about how important a support system can be in making sure students can perform well in exams. She stresses on the importance of a peaceful study atmosphere and that the support and guidance of parents, teachers and friends is essential.

Meritnation congratulates CBSE Class 12 students on having crossed a significant milestone in their academic life and wishes them all the best for their future endeavours !
