When we say that electricity is flow of charges then, at the same time, how can we say that its flow of electrons. I got the answer of this on internet that flow of charges is according to conventional understanding of electricity and flow of electrons based on the new understanding of it. Then I got to know that by Benjamin Franklin's theory positive(+) denotes that there is Surplus of charge while the negative means that there is deficiency of charge. So is this theory related to the anode and cathode (of an electrolytic Cell) or some other thing. And my other question is how are anode and cathode related to Potential Difference?
