Salamander belongs to amphibia in the vertebrata group. It can live in both land and water. It also lays eggs in water. They can breathe through skin under water and with lungs on land. Other examples are frog ,toad, etc...

Lizard belongs to reptilla in the vertibrata group. It can only live on land but not in water. They lay eggs on land because their shells are hard and heavy. They only breathe through skin. Only crocodile in this group has 4 heart chambers. Other examples are snake tortoise, etc...
