Are the rays coming from the Sun are parallal,divergent or convergent?Give reasons

Sun is a distant source of light. Therefore, the light rays coming from it are parallel rays.

If the distance between the source and observer is very large then the light rays reaching observer from the source are taken as parallel rays.
