  • Who is it about?
  • What happened?
  • Where did it take place?
  • When did it take place?
  • Why did it happen?
  • How did it happen?
Here are a few sentences to describe the usage of the words whenever and whoever:
-  Whenever I open my books, I feel sleepy;
-  Whenever I feel sleepy, I drink coffee;
-  Whenever I drink coffee, I feel relaxed;
-  Whenever I miss my parents, I write a letter to them;

Hope the examples help you understand the concept better and help you differentiate between interrogative words and ‘whoever’ or ‘whenever’.
