Can a person wearing specs become a pilot in India?

One can become a commercial pilot, even if he wears spectacles. Vision of 6/9 in each eye separately and 6/6 using both eyes together is required. Moreover, a person can do lasik for rectification of defects in eye. More accurate vision is required for the pilot which runs fighter jets.
