Can anybody help me by explain or meaning the word Apical,Lateral and Intercalary ... that based or relate to bilogy without taking any tissues examples.

a)Apical means something which is present at the apex or situated at the tip.
b)Intercalary means inserted in between something.
c)Lateral means which is present at the side or extending to the sides.
