can non-coherent sources produce interference pattern

Dear Student,
Look the above case is not possible mathematically or ideally.
By definition we can say that light in which the electromagnetic waves maintain a fixed and predictable phase relationship with each other over a period of time (temporal)
or. When the light rays always remain parallel (not crossing each other).
Interference, requires the light source to be coherent.
Consider the young’s double slit experiment, If the incident light is not coherent, meaning that we cannot estimate the relative phase after the light has travelled a certain distance, then there will be no interference pattern or in other words, you will observe just illumination.
Thus non coherent sources can not produce interference pattern.
