cell differentiate between cell enlargement and cell division
Cell enlargement - It is also called cell growth. Every organism continues to grow due to cell enlargement. It is actually an increase in cell size. In animals, the cell growth is time restricted process as compared to that occur in plants.
Cell differentiation- A process in all multicellular organisms, in which a less specialised cell become differentiated into much specialised cell types, is called cellular differentiation. thus it is a complex and very important process by which a system of complex tissues and other cell types are evolved and differentiated from a simpler zygote cell. Such cells that are capable of differentiating other cell types in an organism, are called embryonic stem cells in plants and meristematic cells in advanced plants.
