What is the function of kinetochore and satellite in the chromosome?

Kinetochore is a protein structure that assembles on the centromere. It is a point where the spindle fibres attach on the chromatids during cell division.
Satellite chromosome or SAT chromosome is an additional constriction (apart from centromere) that is attached to chromosome via thread of chromatin. It contains nucleolus organizer region (region around which nucleolus forms).
