 Aqua ' means water and 'aquatic animals ' are animals which live under or in water. They also respire there. Animals like fish takes in the oxygen present in the water to breathe while animals like whale come to the water surface to take in oxygen from the air and breathe. Examples of aquatic animals are fish,crocodiles,seahorse,etc.
