Define political rights

Dear Student,

Political rights protect individuals' freedom from the authorities. Individuals can live without facing discrimination. Some examples of political rights are -
a) Natural justice in law
b) Right to legal remedy
c) Right to participate in civil society
d) Right to assemble, petition, self-defence, vote etc.
