Differentiate between the germ cells of simple organisms and more complex organisms?
In simple organisms, the morpholgy and size of two germ cells is little different from one another or they may even be similar. But organisms with more complex body, the germ-cells are specialised. One germ-cell is large and contains the food-stores. This is called female gamete (Ova) while the other is smaller and motile. This is called male gamete (sperm).
