EXPERTS CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SUBSTANCE PRESENT IN THE ELECTRIC SELL

There are various substances present inside an electric cell. Also the nature of the substance differs with the type of the cell.
For example in commonly used cells (used in torch etc) known as dry cell, the substances present inside are 1. Carbon Rod (act as anode or the positive terminal) 2. Zinc can (makes up the outer body of the cell act as the cathode or the negative terminal) 3. Ammonium Chloride/Zinc Chloride (present as paste, act as electrolyte). 4. Manganese Dioxide (act as depolarizer) 5. Porus paper (act as a separator for anode).
Alkaline cells have Zinc (as anode), Manganese dioxide (as cathode), Potassium hydroxide (as electrolyte). Other cells use other type of substances.
