Q.   Mention the phases of meiosis in which :

a) The chromosome number is reduced to half
b) DNA amount is reduced to haploid state.

In the phase of meiosis - 
a) Anaphase I of meiosis I is the phase where chromosome number is reduced to half.
b) Anaphase II of meiosis II is the phase where the amount of DNA is reduced to half.
