Explain Sustainable Development.(5 points)

Sustainable development means that development should take place without damaging the environment, and development should take place without compromising the needs of the future generation.
Resources should be used in such a way that they do not get exhausted and there is enough for the future generations to use.
Sustainable development requires conservation of resources. Irrational usage of resources can lead to socio-economic and environmental problems, which gradually leads to unsustained development.
If the present trend of resource depletion continues, it will be hazardous for the future generations. Therefore, resource planning is essential for sustainable existence/sustainable development.
