find the angle which is triple of its supplement

Solution:

Let us assume that the one of the angle be X^{o}, then the other angle will be 3X^{o}.

As we know that in supplementary angle the sum of two angles is equal to 180^{o}.

X + 3X = 180

4X = 180

X = 180/4 = 45^{o}.

Since one angle is 45^{o}, then the other angle will be 3X = 3 x 45 = 135^{o}.

**Ans: 45 ^{o} and 135^{o}.**
