x/4+y/3=1 let midpoint be (a,b)

now, the line intersects the axes at (4,0) and (0,3).

a= 4+0/2 b=3+0/2

a=2 b=3/2

now by section formula find the other 2 points having ratio 2:1 1:2

then by 2 point formula find the equations,the other point being (0,0)
