The wind speed and pressure are inversely proportional to each other. This phenomenon is explained by the Bernoulli’s principle. According to this principle, an increase in speed of a fluid (liquid or gas) occurs simultaneously with a decrease in pressure or a decrease in the fluids potential energy.
