Many different types of fabrics are used in India ; namely, cotton, silk, wool, nylon, rayon, linen, polyester etc. Earlier, use of silk, cotton and khadi in summers and woolen fabrics in winters were prevalent. With advent of synthetic fibres, they are also being used now -a days.
