The most used technique of separating a mixture of coloured components is "Paper Chromatography".
A paper chromatogram made up of cellulose acts as the stationary phase and the solvent in which it is placed acts as the mobile phase. Different coloured components has different Retention factor values and hence travel at different levels.
Generally first the red ink separates and then the blue one.
