Is carbonmonoxide acidic in nature (. Yes or no). Give reason . Plzz fast i have exams tomorrow . Dont provide any link plzzz

Those oxides  which are show neither basic nor acidic properties are called Neutral oxides and hence do not form salts when reacted with acids or bases, Such molecule which show this type of properties :-carbon monoxide (CO); nitrous oxide (N2O); nitric oxide (NO), etc. are neutral oxides as they do not form salts when reacted with acids or bases.

yes carbonmonoxide is acidic in nature but is a very weak acid
when we react carbonmonoxide with hot sodium hydroxide it will give sodium ethonate which is a basic salt and hence it is acidic as salts are formed when acid react with base
